Dr. Lundy integrates client-centered, cognitive behavioral, and multicultural counseling therapeutic approaches. She specializes in supporting clients with depression, stress, anxiety, identity issues, trauma recovery, and self-esteem concerns.
- Biography
Dr. Raé N. Lundy is a licensed clinical psychologist, higher education executive, mental health activist, and TEDx Speaker. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Lundy earned a B.S. in psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Notre Dame. There she studied the influence of racial discrimination and trauma on one’s mental health.
Recognized for providing exceptional care, Dr. Lundy is especially skilled in serving the needs of Black and historically marginalized communities through clinical counseling, training, advocacy, coalition building, educational instruction, and research. She serves on several national boards including StandUp SpeakOut, a national nonprofit created to support survivors of trauma, and W.E.L.L. (Women’s Empowerment Leadership League) devoted to creating equity for women in the workforce. She’s been recognized for her tireless efforts with students, most recently with the Unsung Heroes Award. As the Director of Counseling Services, Dr. Lundy’s mission is to foster mental health equity, increase access to services, and re-image psychological well-being for ALL students.
