Farisai is an Associate Professional Counselor at the GSU Counseling Center. She is a nationally certified counselor through NCC. Farisai enjoys working with teens, college students, young adults, couples, and families. She has experience working with clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, postpartum/perinatal issues, and infertility challenges. Farisai’s approach to therapy is grounded in client wellness and empowerment. She seeks to provide a supportive, caring, non-judgmental, healing, and emotionally safe space for her clients. Farisai has experience facilitating groups with expectant and new mothers as well as with teens, teaching them skills for managing stress and test anxiety while building study skills, time management, and organizational skills. Farisai is an avid music lover and supporter of the arts who loves to travel and believes learning is a lifelong process. She has been known to incorporate music, art, pop culture, movie quotes, and humor into her sessions.
