Brianna primarily utilizes third-wave behavioral approaches to therapy, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with an attachment-based foundation. She is trained to adopt a multicultural orientation to inform her conceptualization of clients and attend to the impact of their diverse identities and transgenerational patterns on their experience of the world.
- Biography
Brianna is a doctoral intern at Georgia State, and she is currently working on her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is a non-traditional, first-generation student who believes that the power of “the village” can help support, shape, and refine the best version of ourselves. She enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting with various creative endeavors (i.e., painting, earring making, singing, etc.), and watching Judge Judy or Master Chef.
Areas of Clinical Interests: Brianna is interested in supporting individuals through various stages of identity development. Specifically, she is passionate about working with individuals experiencing significant life changes, such as pregnant/new mothers transitioning to parenthood, and college students (including non-traditional). She is also ardent about supporting clients of color and marginalized populations, as well as individuals who experience anxiety, depression, personality concerns, or relational distress.
