- Biography
Asia Watkins is a Client Advocate and Clinical Therapist for the Counseling Center. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker, actively pursuing her Clinical Social Work Licensure and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to increase the awareness of somatic frameworks in therapeutic/community spaces. Over the last ten years, Asia has gained valuable and diverse experience. She has worked as a Multicultural Facilitator/Program Coordinator, Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Specialist for the State of Georgia, DFCS Crisis Line Specialist, Play Therapist, and engaged in Addiction and Recovery work with Adults and Families impacted by the Opioid Crisis.
